The One Minute Manager

Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson

This book is about how to get good results without taking much time. There are three secrets for one minute manager as follows,
1. One Minute Goals: Goals must be expressed no more than 250 words so that people can read it within one minute. Re-read each goal every once in a while.
2. One Minute Praisings: Praise people when they did right instead of blaming their failure. Shaking hands or touching them when you praise.
3. One Minute Reprimands: Reprimand people when they did wrong. But don’t forget to remind them how much you value them.
Helping people to feel good about what they do is the secret to getting more done.

By the way how long have you spent reading this blog? It shouldn’t take one minute since this post has only 145 words.
