It is said that each side of brain has unique function, left side for language/mathematics and right side for image/art. It turned out that there was a child who was born with no left side brain still able to speak suggesting that brain function was more flexible.

Furthermore, neighboring part of brain can help damaged part replacing its function. Our brain has built in mutual cooperation system!

Another myth busted was deterioration of brain function as it ages. It will maintain resilience as long as you keep stimulate it.

Our brain is pretty much like a computer, it will change its function depending on what software we install.
